Removal of Stains
Berries Stains: Scrape off any excess with a plastic knife or spatula, apply a hydrogen peroxide solution ( half cup hydrogen peroxide and half teaspoon of dish soap) and rinse thoroughly.
Blood Stains: Wet the dirty spot with water and sprinkle table salt on it. Rub it vigorously, then rinse and wash in the normal way. Another method is to soak the dirty patch with 3% hydrogen peroxide and scrape the blood with your fingernail or with a plastic knife, then rinse it with some more hydrogen peroxide.
Candle Wax: Rub an ice cube over the spot, then remove it with a plastic knife or spatula.
Chocolate Stains: Scrape off any excess with a plastic knife or spatula, spray the stain with dish soap solution (1 tablespoon clear soap and 10 Oz water), then clean it lightly.
Coffee Stains: Add one tablespoon of salt in 34 oz of water and soak the clothes in this solution for one hour, then wash.
Collar Stains: Pour a little shampoo onto the collar, rub the collar and rinse, then wash in normal way.
Grass Stains:  Apply a little amount of plain white tooth paste (it should not be  gel) on the dirty patch, then dip an old toothbrush in clean water and thoroughly scrub. Then rinse the patch and wash the clothing as normal.
Gum: Rub an ice cube over the spot, then remove it with a plastic knife or spatula.
Ink Stains: Wet a sponge with cold milk and rub on the fabric until the ink stain is eliminated. Another method is to soak the dirty patch with alcohol, rub it and wipe with a clean white piece of cloth
Juice Stains: Apply dish soap solution (1 tablespoon clear soap and 10 Oz water) on the stain, rub it lightly with a white towel, then wash.
Lipstick Stains: Rub the stain with a piece of white bread until the stain is removed.
Mustard Stains: Pour white vinegar on the stain, then apply dish soap solution (1 tablespoon clear soap and 10 Oz water), let it sit for 15 minutes, then wash.
Nail Polish Stains: Place the stain face down on a clean paper towel. Apply Nail Polish Remover to the back of the stain. Replace the paper towel frequently. Repeat as required. Rinse in cold water. (Note: Acetate or triacetate fabrics should be taken to the dry cleaner).
Oil Stains: Sprinkle a little cornstarch or any brand of artificial sweetener on the stain, wait for a few minutes, then clean it with a soft brush.
Paint Stains: Wipe away the dry paint residue with a paper towel. Sponge on with a solution of detergent diluted with warm water. When the paint softens, remove the excess with a plastic knife or spatula. Rinse and repeat as required.
Poop Stains: Scrape off any excess with a plastic knife. Turn the fabric and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Soak for 30 minutes in warm water and detergent. To disinfect, add Color-Safe Bleach to the wash and launder in warm water.
Sweat Stains on White Clothes: First wash with a detergent at 104°F, and second wash with bleach.
Tea Stains: Dissolve sugar in warm water, then submerge the dirty patch for 10 minutes in a small utensil, then wash.
Tomato Ketchup or Tomato Juice Stains: Apply a few drops of WD-40 to the stain, leave it for 10 minutes, then wash in cold water.
Unpleasant Odor: Add half a measuring cup of baking soda in the detergent and then wash the clothes in hot water.
Wine Stains: Add one tablespoon of salt in 34 oz of water and soak the clothes in this solution for one hour, then wash. Another method is to sprinkle baking soda on the wine stain, then pour boiling water on it.
Yellowing on White Clothes: Add half a measuring cup of baking soda in the detergent and then wash the clothes in hot water.
